Terms
These terms govern access to Dolobo storefronts, checkout, and seller tools. By continuing, you agree to use the service lawfully and honestly.
Terms at a glance
Read this document carefully. The section index stays available on larger screens to help you move through the policy.
The platform and the seller
Dolobo provides software that helps independent sellers publish products, receive orders, and manage fulfilment. Unless a listing expressly says otherwise, the seller named on the storefront—not Dolobo—is the merchant and the party responsible for the product, listing, availability, sale, delivery, returns, and customer support. A seller's store name and contact details are shown on its storefront and order flow.
Listings and prices
Sellers must describe products accurately and show prices in Mauritian rupees. The checkout must show the product subtotal, delivery charge, and total before an order is placed. Sellers are responsible for including or identifying VAT and other mandatory charges as required by law and for correcting inaccurate prices or stock promptly.
Orders and electronic records
Placing an order sends an electronic request to buy from the named seller. The on-screen order number and status acknowledge receipt; an order is accepted only when the seller accepts it. Electronic order, status, and message records may be used to evidence the transaction. A seller may reject an order for genuine stock, delivery, pricing, fraud, or legal reasons and must communicate the outcome fairly.
Payment
Juice payments are sent directly to the seller using the number shown on the receipt; Dolobo does not hold or process those funds. Customers must verify the seller name, amount, and payment number before sending money. Pay-on-delivery availability is determined by the seller. Upload only the payment information reasonably needed for verification and conceal unrelated balances or transactions.
Delivery, returns, and refunds
The seller's delivery and return terms appear on its storefront and apply in addition to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Sellers must state material delivery timing, fees, return conditions, and contact details before purchase. Customers should contact the seller promptly about a missing, damaged, unsafe, counterfeit, or materially misdescribed product. Direct-payment refunds are issued by the seller, not Dolobo.
Seller responsibilities
Sellers must provide accurate identity, contact, pricing, stock, delivery, return, and payment information; honour accepted orders; protect customer information; keep appropriate transaction records; and comply with consumer, tax, product-safety, advertising, intellectual-property, and data-protection requirements that apply to them. Sellers may use customer information only for fulfilment, support, fraud prevention, and applicable legal obligations unless another lawful basis applies.
Customer responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate contact and delivery details, use their own authenticated email address, review the seller's terms, and avoid false orders or payment proofs. Do not send passwords, magic links, PINs, or one-time codes to a seller.
AI-generated visuals
AI visuals are optional concepts and may be inaccurate. Sellers must review colour, shape, material, fit, construction, rights, and other product details before applying an output to a listing. Do not use an AI visual to misrepresent what a customer will receive. Generation availability, providers, models, and credit rules may change as the service evolves.
Content and rights
Users keep ownership of content they lawfully provide. They grant Dolobo a non-exclusive licence to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, promote, and improve the service. Users must have the necessary rights to product images, marks, descriptions, references, and AI inputs they upload.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for access to your email account and magic links. Do not share authentication links, access another user's data, interfere with the service, scrape private information, or bypass technical limits. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Prohibited activity
You may not use Dolobo for illegal, counterfeit, stolen, unsafe, misleading, exploitative, or rights-infringing products or content. Do not create fake orders, identities, scarcity, discounts, reviews, or proofs of payment. We may remove content, restrict an account, preserve evidence, or cooperate with lawful requests when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Dolobo reliable, but the service may occasionally be unavailable or contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, Dolobo is not responsible for indirect losses or for a seller's products, conduct, delivery, refund, or direct-payment transaction. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Complaints and disputes
For an order issue, contact the seller first using the details on the storefront or receipt. For a platform, safety, privacy, or unresolved marketplace concern, contact Dolobo at the support address below with the store link and order number, but never a password or magic link. Consumers may also contact the Mauritius Consumer Affairs Unit or another competent authority. These terms do not prevent either party from using remedies available under Mauritian law.
Ending use, law, and changes
You may stop using Dolobo at any time. We may suspend access for a material breach, security threat, unlawful activity, or risk to other users. These terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius. We may update them as the service evolves; material changes will be presented through the service or account email where practical.
